He's our legitimate President

With all do respect to, John Lewis, President Trump is our President. Whether you voted for him or not is of no consequence. He was voted in by the Electoral College. If you feel the popular vote is of more importance it's not. We can work to change this in the future, but he is legitimate. There is no conclusive evidence that Russian hacking swayed the election. It is also apparent it was a leak as opposed to a hack. Russia has also influenced the anti-fracking movement. So, does that mean that the anti-frackers will stop? No, they won't.

President Trump's inaugural address was beautiful. Whether you demonize the man will affect how you hear his address. His message was one of unity, America first, and recognizing real dangers, while making real opportunity for all. Some of the messages were as clear as can be. He is not alt right. He is not a hate monger. He is not a bad man. In fact, he is a good man. He wants good thing for this country, and all of it's citizens.

“It's time to remember that old wisdom our soldiers will never forget, that whether we are black or brown or white, we all bleed the same red blood of patriots.”

Almost all of my friends hate him. Most are protesting him. Many of these protests are not violent. There have been more than a handful of incidents with violence from the aggressive left.

I will most likely be losing more friends as result of me not being able to shut my mouth. I can't sit idly by, and let people slander him. They call him a racist, homophobe, anti-semite, and misogynist. He is none of those things, and I stand by that.

I am not ending friendships based on political beliefs. The "tolerant" side is. If that's the way it goes then so be it. I can always make new friends. I am optimistic about "Making America Great Again".
