Where would we be without the lessons of virtue from Hollywood and the left? We would be doing just fine. In fact, we would be doing better. We can't move forward without the facts. I keep hearing actors, and actresses disseminating incorrect statistics in their speeches. I commonly hear from my leftist friends that women are paid 77 cents on the dollar. This is whole heartedly untrue. If you don't believe me please see Christina Hoff Sommers discuss this issue. She considers herself an equity feminist (as most of us do). She is on the side of fairness towards women. She also doesn't want to perpetuate fake news. Jordan Peterson, another academic, from Canada just battled over these issues as well.
I don't want to bore any of you who may read this by my own collection of facts, and statistics. I just hope you can review the two links I have above, and open up to truth.
I also want to steer this towards the idea of Hollywood being in control of all of the major mass media. Hollywood is overwhelmingly in one camp of thought. There is little deviation. If you are not all in then you are out of the club. We have a real job ahead of us in getting the real facts out there. We can't keep listening to Hollywood and the left disparage good people. I wouldn't mind them scolding us if they didn't show us that they are offenders. Hypocrisy cares not for what party you belong to. There's enough darkness to go around. I accept my share. We are at the point that we need to look at the facts, and start investigating.
Don't just watch Hollywood shlock. Don't just read one newspaper. Go to the source. Look at studies. Investigate, educate yourself, and step out of the echo chamber. I am optimistic that we are heading back to the glorious center. People left and center, and right of center can communicate. Jordan Peterson cites that the left are usually innovators. They are not great at running things though. The right is great for running things. The left and right are a great team! I see a regrouping of these two beneficial camps once the real facts get out there.
